It’s the most exciting season of ‘Game Of Thrones’ yet, and we’re here to talk about the show’s most exciting moments and what fans should be expecting from the season.
We talked to ‘Game’ showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss about the new season, the showrunner-driven ‘Blackwater’ and how the show is changing.
“This is the year we finally take a break from ‘Game,'” Beniof says.
“I think that’s what I’m most excited about.
I’m looking forward to this season, and hopefully we’ll be able to take another step forward as a show.
And I know this isn’t going to be a smooth ride.
I don’t think we’ll have a lot of surprises, but I’m not worried about that.
This is really going to come together very quickly.”
In the meantime, check out the exclusive Q&A below, and make sure you tune in Sunday, June 9 at 9 p.m.
ET on HBO.
What’s next for ‘Game’?
“I know that the showrunners are excited for us to be able come back and go, ‘Okay, we have the season out, now what?’
But the real excitement for me is the journey we’re going to have, and I think we’re all really excited to go on that journey,” Weiss says.
The ‘Game’-themed season premiere will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson.
